Am I the only one who is neurotic about not wanting to have tan lines for my wedding? I’ll be wearing a strapless wedding dress. I wont be having air brush makeup. If I get tan lines, it will be noticable!
The weather is just now starting to get nice where I live. The days are long and the sun is hot! EVERY time I leave the house now, I’m covering myself in sun screen. It’s so easy to be out and about just running errans and come home at the end of the day and realize you have your tank top lines permanently embedded on your skin.
Current and past brides with this concern, what can I do to help ensure that I am tan line free for for my big day?

I’m right there with you! I live in San Diego, so I’ve been avoiding the sun for months! I keep the sunblock in the bathroom, so while I’m getting ready for the day, if I think I’m going to spend more than an hour outside, I put some on just in case.
I keep a sunhat at home, in my car, and at work. I don’t leave the house without wearing a hat! I also keep lightweight, long-sleeved sweaters at work and by the door at home so my arms are always covered as well.
I’ve read that lycopene (found in tomatoes) is good for protecting your skin and two servings of tomato-based foods could help prevent burning.
I’m afraid the one day that I let up, I will burn and have permanent lines!
