I’ve always taken summer classes. I love keeping my brain in good academic shape over a long break instead of letting it slowly leak out of my ears. I just graduated though, so no classes for me this summer. Not sure what I’ll do with myself… Your class sounds very interesting. Enjoy!

Ugh, yes. I don’t want to, but I also want to stay on track to graduate in December 2014. It’s a research class too. SO THRILLED.

What are you going to school for? M.Ed here.

I did before I graduated. I took summer classes before I transferred schools and then my very last semester was a summer semester because my original advisor (when I transferred) screwed up my paperwork.

I take summer classes every year. It’s helped me graduate a year early, so it’s definitely worth it for me! I’m taking 3 classes this summer but they’re all online which makes it easier for work, so it’t not too bad.

@mandy102:  Yeah, it’s fun to go in to do your graduation audit right before Thanksgiving, only to find out that, no, you won’t be graduating in April, you’re a full semester (12 credits) behind because the stupid twat who did your transfer paperwork never mentioned or marked the spot where it says “60 credits at 4 year institution.”

@mandy102: I’m taking Political Science, Gender Studies, and Community Health. My major is Speech Pathology, I’m just taking anything that will transfer from my home community college to my university.

@mandy102:  So mad that I was sobbing in this other advisor’s office (who was super nice and very, very helpful).

@mandy102: Lol thank you! Inorganic chemistry is about to kick my butt! I should probably find out where my class is though since it starts in about an hour!
