Same here in Ohio. I keep waiting for summer to start. It’s the first summer I haven’t worked (unemployed) since highschool (15 yrs) and we live on a small lake. So I thought I’d at least have a chance to swim and enjoy the summer. Haha…not so much.

It has been a strange summer, but I haven’t really minded it. For one thing, I’m moving on 9/1 and am glad I’ve been able to get through the summer without buying or renting an air conditioner. Plus, I gained a lot of weight this past year and have not exactly been keen on wearing “summer clothes,” so it’s been helpful that I haven’t really had to, hahaha.

I am worried that if our summer was this cool, the winter will be brutally cold.

I am moving to Boston on Saturday (YAY!) and the whole time I was there looking for an apartment, it was pouring, gushing, torrential rain. Kind of made it hard to absorb the charm of Cambridge while we were out looking.
