- Wedding: August 2011
We got our pro pics back about a month ago and I’m just now getting around to sharing them and our wedding! Our photographer took over 8,000 photos at our wedding (he was INCREDIBLE) so it took awhile to sort. This is a small sampling! Very out-of-order, but it gives the overall feeling 🙂
The wedding was August 20th in Montana and took place at a restaurant/golf club I’ve loved since I was a kid.
My dad and I taking the walk down the aisle.
The flower girl and ring bearer. They were perfect!
My girls busting a move 🙂
My grandma putting on the pearls she gave me for the wedding.
Our photographer took the girls and I out to an open field on the mountain between getting ready and the ceremony for some “portraits” and pics with the girls. It was unbelievably hot, but I love the pics! And my photographer was so prepared, he brought bottled water and parasols to block the sun between shots.
Wedding cake made by a professional. It was amazing, three flavors, and gorgeous!
I’m fairly certain we had the cutest flower girl and ring bearer known to man (and Darling Husband is pretty adorable, too!)
One of my bridesmaid’s little guys (he’s blowing a kiss). He was seriously adorable, and so well-behaved. He was also happy to go with whoever, which made both this day and the whole week super easy. My bridesmaid was such a trooper. She has incredibly terrible pregnancies, had her son by herself (her husband wasn’t able to make it since he just took a new job), and was about 10 weeks pregnant with her second little one. It was so hot and despite incredible nausea, I don’t think anyone was the wiser!
One of our tables–my mom and I designed the centerpieces (although they were assembled by a couple of my mother’s amazing friends on the actual day of the wedding!)
The groom’s cake, made by my aunt! How gorgeous is that?!? It was gone before I could blink, so unfortunately neither of us ate it, but it was DH’s facebook profile pic for weeks after the wedding. He loved it!
Listening during my dad’s toast.
We fed each other nicely. It’s the only cake either of us got!
I have no idea what was so hilarious, but this is one of my favorites!
One of my absolutely favorite photos! We borrowed the car from one of my dad’s friends, and we are in front of the restaurant.
My dad and I danced to “My Girl.”
The day was more than I could have imagined! Everything was perfect. Thanks for letting me re-live it!
