I am getting married the 13th of October, because the venue we wanted was booked for the 12th. This means there will be a wedding there until late, so when do you do the rehearsal dinner and rehearsal? I thought you did it at the ceremony site so that you could practice where EXACTLY you will be standing but we obviously won’t be able to do that.

Could you do your rehearsal on the Thursday or Friday? I agree, it should be at the venue, but it doesn’t necessarily have to be the day before. It could be one night during the week. Of the two (Saturday) weddings I was in, one had the rehearsal on a Wednesday, and the other was on a Thursday.

My wedding was on a Sunday and we did rehearsal on a Saturday.. There was not a wedding but a graduation party in the reception ball room. Maybe you can do it on a Friday or Thursday.. See what the coordinator thinks.

It’s a semi destination wedding so most people in the bridal party won’t be arriving until Saturday. Would it be too much to do it Sun morning and do a breakfast instead of dinner?

It may not be ideal, but we’re doing our rehearsal dinner on Saturday night, but we’re actually doing the rehearsal the morning of the wedding, before the bridal party goes to the salon to start getting ready.

We’re date twins!
I’m having my rehearsal and dinner on the 12th, the evening before. If it comes down to it, although not ideal, you could have your rehearsal at the restaurant where the Rehearsal Dinner is taking place or perhaps a park or something nearby?
