I think you could definitely work in a theme for a Sunday brunch wedding, if you wanted to. Now a masquerade/carnivale theme is probably not appropriate for that day and time. But something more daytime friendly, like vintage or travel or lovebirds etc., could work well with a Sunday brunch wedding.

I love this idea! I am not big on forced themes and would probably focus the theme around the venue, colors, personal interst or time of year. My sunday brunch wedding would be full of bright colors, pinks, emerald green, royal blue, bright yellow and lots of ribbon, think preppy garden party. I would focus on a great brunch buffet with omlets if possible and eventually ice cream for dessert. There would be lemonage and champagne and some champagne mix-ins. In fact, I jsut attended a wedding and the cocktail hour (4pm) was champagne with 3 choices of mixers – orange juice, lavender syrup and a tart red berry juice. It was the perfect drink for a hot summer day and looked so elegant.
