Just looked at the container. It says “no more than 2% fat”.
Personally, I like full fat (although gold top is also amazing!), but I drink so much of it that I thought semi was a compromise. Skimmed milk is like the devil’s milk… tastes like sour water IMO! Yuck!
The only milk alternative which you can really readily get here is soy. You can only get that in the larger supermarkets… not the local shops.

We get 1% and lots of it!

I think milk is incredibly disgusting, and I only use it in baking. But my fiancé drinks it by the gallon. We buy skim.

I drink almond, SO drinks whole. I will sometimes drink her whole though…I like almond for my cereal but not for drinking

We only use almond milk! 🙂

1% for both SO and myself. It’s the only milk I will drink & we go through probably 2-3 gallons a week!!

We buy non fat. It’s my husbands preference, I rarely drink milk. I buy almond milk for smoothies and once in awhile use regular milk in cereal.

I prefer whole milk but my husband refuses to drink it, so we get 2%.

Lactaid milk. DH and I are lactose intolerant but I LOVE MILK. His symptoms are worse than mine though.

@Skittles131: i’ve heard this before and that is why i switched from skim to 2% milk.

Local dairy farm in our area sells skim milk that tastes like 2%, it’s really really good. When they are closed on vacation and we have to buy milk from the grocery store, it all tastes watered down in comparison regardless of the type.

@Skittles131: My dad swtiched to skim when I was a kid and my mom didn’t want to buy two different milks since he and I were the only ones who drank it. So been drinking skim since I was a child, just used to it. While I love milk, I just can not handle the taste of anything over skim. Just to rich for me. I have been known to add water to other milks to just try and cut the thickness.
SO used to drink whole, but he’s lactose intolerent so he’s supposed to be drinking soy…

I’m mildly lactose intolerant, so I stick with soy/coconut/almond milk (we pretty much rotate the type, or choose whichever we feel like at the moment).

Fiance is lactose-intolerant, so we get almond milk for him. I like milk, but don’t ever drink it because a) I like my cereal dry and b) I would rather chew my calories. If I need milk for cooking/baking I either use FI’s almond milk or buy a pint of whole milk. Skim milk is white water, as far as I’m concerned. 2% is as low as I’ll go.

Fiance and I used to buy nonfat, but we did a non-dairy challenge (we only lasted about 3 weeks because, hello, CHEESE) – but the one thing that stuck was almond milk! We’ve gone back to consuming dairy but have been buying almond milk instead of regular ever since. I like the vanilla kind but he likes plain.
