Yes I get that way on Sunday nights as well and it’s especially worse when Fiance is working nights.  🙁  It’s just me and the dog.

Fiance gets the Sunday Night Blues pretty bad. I’ve had a craptastic night though so I’m looking forward to sleeping and a fresh start in the morning. However my commute is from bed to the dining room table so it’s not like I have a lot to complain about. I used to have a super super super crappy job with an evil boss and I think I would cry myself to sleep nearly every Sunday thinking about going into the office again in the morning. Thank god that’s over!

Yup, like Angela Chase said on My So-Called Life: “There’s something about Sunday nights that just make you want to kill yourself.”  She was talking about 10th grade, but I understand the sentiment.

It’s not so bad now that I like my job.  When I had a job I despised, I wouldn’t want to go to bed on Sunday because when I woke up, it was another 5 days of hell ahead.

I’m sorry you’re feeling blue!

I am happy to hear that other people deal with this also.  I am always so grumpy on Sunday evenings.

i totally know that feeling! i actually have been having mini anxiety attacks all weekend, about starting law school in three weeks. (on top of working and planning this wedding)…

last night, Fiance made me an ice cream cone and i fell asleep watching the simpsons… i just made myself think about hoow fast this week is going to go by… and soon that the best will be in town… and how the weather is really startng to warm up.

it’s a mental battle. you can only let yourself feel better instead of yucky!

Yep! Every week. Its a double-whammy too because I’m 1) sad about starting another long work week and waiving goodbye to another weekend and 2) sad that i’m sad about starting a work week… i wish i was one of those people who loved my job!

Oh my God, I’m, not the only one! I get them BAD. Like, seriously. My husband always asks what’s wrong with me on Sunday nights, right around 7 p.m. when we start thinking about the following week, and I’m like, “I have to go to worrrrrrrk tomorrowwwwwww.”

Usually on Sundays from like 7 p.m. onward, I’m a total sad ball. And I have yet to find a way to deal with it.

Urrrrrgh I have this right now! I always get this uneasy, anxious feeling on Sunday nights. I don’t understand why, because my job is not very stressful and I actually like it. But every Sunday around 6pm I feel the butterflies coming on. I really need to go to sleep right now because I wake up very early for work, but I can’t. It will be Monday when I wake up!

OMG, yes! I’ve had this all my life, but especially now as an adult in the working world. I’m glad it’s not just a kid thing for other people too.

yes, i’ve felt like this for as long as i can remember. it was the worst for me in college… i would seriously cry every sunday without fail!

now its still the same working in the “real world”, def not as bad though. it also helps that i have mondays off and the week starts on tuesdays and before i know it its friday! i also like my job so that helps tremendously 😀

Definitely a lot of teachers! I used to be a teacher and during my first year I had that nervous and anxious Sunday vibe EVERY Sunday. Some weeks I convinced myself to spend some of Friday afternoon preparing for Monday, that way Sunday night felt more like time off since I knew I was good to go. But of course that didn’t happen very often 🙂
