I don’t know how old people are that are going but we had our reception dinner around 6-7 so if you had it then you would have a few hours.  Plus some of the older guests probably wouldn’t want to go to the bar with you afterward so you might not need to reserve space.

I think that you could find something at a bar. Most places just want you to drink. I am not sure where you are having your rehearsal dinner, but I work at public house downtown and would definitely put something together for you if you still need it. Our event coordinator is amazing and she works with people for rehearsal dinners as well as after dinner drink packages and event spaces. We have a private room as well so that your guests can stay away from the Saturday night party in the back room or go out onto the dance floor in the main space if they want. pm me for more info…. I would love to help out…. good karma…

I was just going to suggest the Public House in Center City! I knew they rent out rooms if you’re just looking for drinks and a few finger foods.

There’s also a new bar right on the parkway called Con Murphy’s!
