alexis.reilly:  I’m not much help because I’m not too concerned about everything matching, but I think both of those colors would be fine. I’d probably lean more towards blush, since it’s a softer color and the sunflowers are so bold, but I’m not certain about that… the right lavendar could look really nice! I suggest using Google/Pintrest to get a better feel for what you like. It’s helpful to see how other brides did it!

alexis.reilly: Grey looks good as does black, but not everyone wants black in their wedding. Yellow can also be done buyout it would have to a light shade I’d say.

I didn’t use sunflowers but we used yellow roses and yellow freesia (they are a golden color like sunflowers) and my bridesmaids wore plum.  It looked great and made our flowers pop (purple and yellow are complementary colors).  I would definitely stick with a darker color with sunflowers (plum, navy, black, grey, maybe green, burgundy or burnt orange would work too)

Blush and lavender will look fine with sunflowers.  They are both pale, soft pastels, so basically can be considered a neutral.

The easiest way to test the “look” is to go to the craft store, purchase just one silk sunflower, then take it to the stores to see what it looks like against different colored dresses.
