(Closed) sunflowers?

My SIL used sunflowers in her wedding and it was gorgeous! Her BMs wore black dresses with yellow underskirts and sashes… from David’s Bridal, I believe. And no, they didn’t wilt at all. Here’s a pic with the dresses:

Sunflowers are pretty hardy, with such thick stems even when they start wilting they won’t droop as much because of their stem strength.As long as you keep them in water until the ceremony they should be fine.

My cousin used them at her wedding a few years ago and had each of her girls carry a single (GIANT BLOOM) sunflower –they wore blue (cobalt?) dresses and it looked really sharp!

I agree with the blue dresses! I think that would look great!

A friend of mine used sunflowers and it was amazing. She made all of the bouquets with fake flowers and they looked very real. She was married in a country church and rented a center that she decorated on her own. It was a budget wedding that came together beautifully, and the sunflowers really helped.
