Hey Ladies! I really prefer to keep my face out of he sun during the summer. I usually hide behind big hats and sunglasses but I noticed last year that i just looked funny with a tan body but bright white face. I’ve never really used sunless tanner on my face before but would love to find something to mix with my moisterizer in the morning so that my face has some color. any recommendations?

@totheislnds: Jergens is pretty good- just take it slow with the application: meaning you’re not going to see results overnight, so follow the instructions and don’t get impatient with it and overapply.

I love tan towels! A lot of self tanners I’ve tried on my face make me break out but tan towels don’t do that and give you nice color quick!

I use the same self tanner on my face that I use on my body. It’s Banana Boat in Deep Dark. Many people have success with St. Tropez too.

I use the Banana Boat Summer Color.

I have super sensitive skin that is prone to blemishes. I find the only one that works for me is Tantasia by Jane Iredale. It’s a bit more expensive (maybe around $35). It has great color, I use it all over between airbrush spray tans.

I use the tanner from Bare Escentuals. Great color! (Intense color – apply every 5-7 days, and I always dilute it a bit)

I’m about to use the L’oreal lotion that gives you a hint of color without actually being tanner. I bought it on amazon, and they have one for the face and one for the body. I like that they have a separate one for the face, because it has SPF in it and is meant for the face

I usually use Victoria’s Secret sunless tanner with bronzer added for my face, since I feel that sunless tanner wears off much quicker from my face than the rest of my body, so I like the added boost from the bronze. I’ve also had good luck with Neutrogena micromist tanner (I spray it onto my hands first then rub it on my face).

I use the Bare Escentuals “Faux Tan” self tanner on my face (and my body), and have never had any problems breaking out. And my skin can be very sensitive.

I use Estee Lauder Bronze Goddess. I apply it before bed and wake up with a nice sublte color. I reapply every few days.

I use the generic version of Jergen’s because I think Jergen’s smells terrible! Blegh! It’s just the Kroger brand, and it works great, and has a nice fragrance to it. I mix a little dab with my daily moisturizer (which has spf!) and apply on my face, neck, and upper chest so I’m even. Hope you find something that works for you!
