I’m having a really, really hard time figuring this one out.  The fiance is DETERMINED to not see me at all the day until the ceremony. Needless to say he is not a fan of First Looks at all.

The ceremony is scheduled for 4:30 and sunset is scheduled for 4:45 in Hillburn, NY.  We’re trying to keep the ceremony as short as possible but it will still probably be like 15-20 mins.  The photographer’s only suggestions was to do a First Look shot.  I really wanted some shots of us outside since we’ve going to be in the mountains but I don’t know if there will be enough light.

I’m thinking maybe shots of the bridesmaids and I earlier in the day and then groomsmen?  We have a photobooth so I can do that for family shots.

Any suggestions? Its way too late to change the ceremony time? Do you think there will still be enough light outdoors until 5pm-5:30pm?

@Oliviationlee:  I’m right near you!  I’m getting married pretty close to Hillburn too!

We’re doing our first look at 3 p.m. and sunset is scheduled for 5:51 and our ceremony is at 6 p.m. so we should have some nice light coming through our all window walled chapel.

@FutureMrsLadolcetta: Cool, I’m quite jealous. He is VERY against this first look thing. So I don’t think we’ll be getting a lot of photos of just us with family photos and the sunsetting.  I’m a bit sad about it.
