Hello Bees! I could use your help! My scale is broken, I’m afraid! Every time I step on it, it gives me a different number and it varies 10-20 pounds! I think I need a new scale. What do you use, and do you like it? Bonus points for the price. Thanks!

ClassicCorvette: A white one? Lol I don’t know, I think a home and something it’s called…
I used to have a weight watchers scale and it stopped working in less than a year! Also, I had the same problem you’re having with my current scale, turned out there was a piece of plastic stuck underneath throwing off it’s balance.

I use a Weight Watchers by Conair scale I bought at Walmart. It does fancy stuff like calculate BMI and body fat, but I just use it as a regular scale.
[Edit. I think it was like $20, and I’ve had it for 4 years and counting. I’ve had to replace the batteries once but other than that, its been perfect]

Ours came from Bed, Bath and Beyond… we liked it cos it was thin. I think the brand was Beuer. SO far so good with readings!

Thanks everyone! I just got back from my FI’s house and saw your replies! Hopefully I haven’t gained any weight at Thanksgiving.
playdohpants: I’m going to give mine a good once over before I toss it, maybe it will be something as simple as that! Thanks!
littleanchor: Thanks for the reply! I’m going to check that out!
nadnuk: Thanks for the link! Maybe that’ll be my next scale!
Kacie209: Bed Bath and Beyond is great! Thanks for the reply!

I have the Omron Body Composition scale. I used to be a health coach, and was given one to use with my clients. It’s awesome! I bought one for myself when I moved on to another job. It weighs you, and also measures your body fat %, muscle %, resting metabolism, among other things. You can also create profiles and log your data, so Darling Husband and I can each track our individual progress (or lack thereof). But if you don’t care about any of that stuff, you can just use it as a scale; it’s very accurate and reliable. I bought mine on Amazon:
