I LOVE my mixer (I like to bake).  It makes making cheesecake a breeze.  My kitchenaide was actually the first gift fi ever gave me.  And it was just a surprise because he knew I wanted one…I love him!

Ohh I wish I had the extra cash right now so I could get one! It’s on the registry though so hopefully someone pulls through for me 🙂

Yay I love my mixer! I make all baked good in it…ginger cookies, almond raspberry bars, brownies, apple sour cream coffee cake, etc. You should also definitely get the attachments for ice cream, bread, and pasta.

@KatNYC2011: This is my FAVORITE recipe:

http://www.epicurious.com/recipes/food/views/New-York-Cheesecake-102592

The lemon zest in it isn’t overwhelming but instead it just makes the cake seem less rich.  It is TO DIE FOR.  I usually top it off with a simple raspberry glaze (take raspberry jam, a little bit of water, and a squeeze of lemon juice and melt it down over a medium heat on the stove then just poor on top (once the cheesecake has cooled) and spread evenly) and then a ring of fresh raspberries.

I think that cheesecake recipe might be why fi’s family loves me so much…lol.

Read through some of the reviews too (I always do when I use an epicurious recipe) because they usually have good pointers!

Yay! Now you can put attachments on your registry! Hehe.We put the pasta attachment on there and it’s so awesome.

I don’t have  KitchenAid specific recipes. I use it to make everything. Although I still use my handy dandy hand mixer for whipped cream.

It’s also great for mashed potatoes!
