My FH and I are paying for our wedding ourselves, and considering he’s an artist and I’m a student our budget is very, very tiny!
I found these rings at Walmart for $128 – total – with tax. They’re solid 10k white gold.
I figured I’d pass the info on for those brides who are also on a very tight budget. I also checked out K-Mart, and they offer a lay-away plan, if you wanted to go that route.

We paid about $40 for his titanium band on amazon, and I’m not getting a band (I have a simple band ering that I love, and I can’t imagine a wedding band adding anything to it).

If anyone is looking for super-low budget wedding rings, Amazon.com has quite a few. I got a second wedding band (to wear swimming, camping, etc.) at Amazon.com. It is a plain sterling silver and cost $6.99. I was suprised by how shiny it is and how nice it looks…makes me wonder why I spent so much on the “real” one. Amazon also has titanium bands in the same price range. Amazing.

FH is getting a tungston from Overstock for $46
My band has .50 tcw diamonds from Jared for $499!

I got Fiance his band from Titanium Knights on Etsy for $55, and my band is being custom designed by our jeweler for about $800. I had figured mine would cost about $1200 so I was pleasantly surprised!

That’s funny, my partner is also an artist and I’m a grad student. We found ours at http://www.iweddingband.com – you can definitely find 2 gold bands there for under $200 total, plus free shipping both ways and free engraving. It’s pretty awesome.

My band was $850 (but valued at $1600) and he purchased it when he got my e-ring (they were bought from a custom jeweler and they were going out of business, so it was a ‘now or never’ situation, hence the good deal)
I purchased his from Titanium Knights on Etsy – $43.

- Wedding: June 2010 - Indiana Memorial Union
We got our pair for about 550. They’re from Bario Neal, jewelers who use reclaimed/recycled metals and stones. Really really happy with them!

I got his from TitaniumKay.com, it’s a Tungsten ring and it came out to about $90 — AFTER engraving. I posted pics on here before: http://boards.weddingbee.com/topic/we-got-his-ring-and-i-have-pictures
My ring was platinum, so much more expensive (my e-ring is platinum so gold was not an option), and it was $1,420, from thefacetscollection.com I also posted pics on here: http://boards.weddingbee.com/topic/my-wedding-band-is-here-lots-of-pics

Glad to see we’re not the only budget folks on here (sometimes, I wonder) and that everyone is getting a great deal! I think half the fun of wedding planning for me is scouring the internet for the best deals!

I voted even though I don’t have our rings yet. Mine will probably be a plain white gold (~$125) and I’m hoping to get the Fiance a titanium or tungsten ring for under $100.
@Neva: becareful with the sterling silver ring. If you’re saving it to wear on days your rough with your hands it could get bent out of shape. I have a ring I wear all the time and its gotten so bent out of shape I can’t take it off without losing the skin on my knuckle. I’d go with tungsten carbide or titanium because they’ll never bend or get scratched (I found some I love for $25- posted some on here a while ago)

ours were $250 off a reputable dealer on the net…he got a tungsten carbide for $50 looks great ! and I got a .22 carat diamond band for $175…which I love.

I am still researching for our wedding bands, but I voted in the poll anyways. I know I want a platinum band to match my e-ring and wouldn’t mind if Fiance has a platinum one too! We are both very active and need something that will stand up to our lifestyle. I came across some platinum band design ideas — I love this Eugene Biro one. http://www.preciousplatinum.com/en-us/design-gallery.aspx#productid=2402
Great designs ideas and reasonable prices … check them out!
