I’m thinking of using a supermarket florist to save money on flowers. I know Wegman’s does wedding flowers. They have pretty good quality produce and other groceries, so they seem reliable. Some Shop-Rites are above-average (while some are just regular quality) and might be able to do them too. I wonder about Whole Foods too. Does anyone have experience with ordering bouquets (that’s really all I will be needing) from a supermarket florist?

Pretty much all of my friends who married in recent years have used Whole Foods for their flowers. They say that the prices and quality are great. I haven’t been down to talk to them yet myslef, though. I think it would definitely be worth a look at some of the supermarket florists.

i say go for it! a friends aunt works in the floral department of an Acme. she did the flowers for my friends bridal shower and they were beautiful.
and also at one of the bridal shows, i believe it was Shoprite who had a booth set up for flower arrangements.
