Wow!  That’s beautiful!  We didn’t use a supermarket for our cake but I was curious to see your photo.  I love it.

I plan on going with Publix for ours. I don’t want fondant because I don’t like the way it tastes, so a buttercream cake suits us better anyhow and Publix cake is AWESOME. Also, it’s so much cheaper to get a cake from the grocery store than a cake baker- like less than $200 for 80 people. I’ve heard really good things about cakes from Publix at least, but it looks like Piggy Wiggly does a good job too!

Wow! What a gorgeous cake. I’m going to have to look into this.

My aunt had a Whole Foods cake for a recent wedding. It was really tasty 🙂

i work in a grocery store and i actually enjoy doing wedding cakes.  the other girls wouldn’t dare to do them due to the overwhelming stress, but id rather do a wedding cake than a 5 year olds birthday cake any day.  we dont “do” them anymore so i have gotten creative on how to do them.  some cake decorators will jump at the idea of doing a wedding cake and their skill will knock you off your feet.  you just have to find the right place and an enthusiastic person to do it.

I don’t have a pic but one of my friends used Publix and the cake was delicious. The florist actually made the cake topper out of red roses but the cake was all Publix. If I wasn’t helping her plan I would have never guessed.

My sister had cupcakes and a 1 tier cake made from Farm Fresh for her wedding and everything was delicious.

I am having a publix cake too!  They are delicious and I didn’t see the point in spending the extra money.  As long as there’s cake I don’t see anyone complaining!!

I agree with clane616! I’m having a Publix cake too! When we were shopping around for cakes prices were ridiculous. In my honest opinion I don’t see the point in spending almst $800.00 on a cake!

We had Piggly Wiggly in Georgia!!!!!

We had Costco cake. Not pretty (sheet cake–what do you expect?!), but very, very tasty 🙂

My cake was from Hyvee, White chocolate (with white chocolate pieces), raspberry filling.

We’re having a Publix cake. There’s no reason to pay more for a cake that MIGHT taste good and cost alot, when I can go to Publix and KNOW that it’ll be good and inexpensive!

Our cake is coming from Martin’s – no pics yet but I hope it turns out as pretty as yours!
