Has anyone had luck with taking anything to regulate menstrual cycles? I was a regular 35 days the first few months getting off bcp, but then the month before we started ttc I started having cycles in the 40’s range. I am slightly overweight, but besides that I have no health issues to my knowledge. I’m now eating healthier and exercising regularly to lose some weight. I’m going to start charting and using opks to make sure I’m ovulating, because that is my main concern.
I was looking into vitex, or rasberry leaf tea? any other suggestions Anyone else in the same boat? Thanks Everyone!

clairykoo: I did take Vitex to help lengthen my LP. I began taking it about 2(ish) month before TTC and took it my entire cycle. I did have my LP lengthen from 10 to 12 days the first month we began TTC, but I cant say it was the Vitex. Please follow the directions and stop talking once you ovulate. I took my entire cycle and when I became pregnant our second cycle, had to try to wean off. I lost that pregnancy at 6.5 weeks. I can’t determine if it was because of the Vitex, but there is a possibility that the dramatic drop in Progesterone once I stopped led to the pregnancy not being supported. I didn’t take it again and was lucky enough to conceive the following cycle and have had no complications (*knock on wood*) and am now 21 weeks.
I did use Red Raspberry Leaf tea (tasty!), but it’s not recommended during the first tri because it could cause uterine contractions. I still drank one cup a day while TTC, but went to every other day during the TWW. Haven’t had since becoming pregnant again.
