@sierratakeloon:  Why would you want to change it?! It looks gorgeous!!

You could do a bit of 4Cs research, study the diamond certificate it came with, and decide whether he got a good deal or not… but if you love it, I would just bask in your newly engaged glory!

It’s lovely

There are a million styles out there and you can give your self a serious case of doubt and confusion by looking at them. If you love the one he picked, keep it, if not, the best thing to do is go try some on to see what you like.

@sierratakeloon:  WEIRD! I JUST got engaged and have almost the exact same ring! Here are a few pics… I LOVE IT!  It is a Neil Lane setting with a round center stone and a cushion halo and a split shank.

you could try on a a bunch of rings at the store and take pix and see what else you like. if you dont’ mind changing and he doesn’t mind changing it. best way to know is to try on a bunch.

then you can switch the center stone from your e-ring into the new setting if you like.

@sierratakeloon:  Congratulations! For us choosing the e-ring also had alot to do with the band. I wanted them to look like they were meant to go together and fit, so I just wanted to suggest you think of your band if you want to make a change.

Here’s mine because you asked πŸ™‚
EDT: I know it’s not similar but it is a different style!…?

@SherbertLemony:  +1! I would even think of changing the ring he proposed with, especially not so soon after the big question! My SO would go insane!
