read this on another forum about giving hints to the boy about what kind of ring one might like… Its pretty funny!
“I got him very drunk and then took him into a b&m, picked out the stone, and had him sign the CC slip while he was nearly blacking out.”

It’s very funny, reminds me of Charlotte asking Trey to marry her in SATC
Hope she doesn’t live to regret doing it that way though…..

Guess she’ll probably have to keep him completely smashed to get him all the way to the alter! lol

LMAO if i had to do it that way, i would probably just skip it. lol

@crebre80 I agree. Plus, I feel like this is deceitful.

LOL – that’s so sad! I’m with crebre…if that’s what it takes to get him to propose, then I would just do without.

That would totally suck! I’m really glad I didn’t have to do that…..

well i’m not THAT desperate for a ring. that sounds like way too much effort. lol. i’d prefer to expend no energy and just wait. LOL

I’m pretty sure it’s joke…

I probably could do that… but I really hope I don’t need to.

…so what happened the next day when he looks at his cc balance online, sees the change and returns the ring? I second tea’s opinion that sitting back, chilling and waiting seems like the most energy efficient option!

Is that a joke? I can’t believe someone would do that!

I think it was a joke 🙂 In my case, my Fiance is 6’4″ — with the amount I’d have to spend to get him plastered, I could just take the $$ and get myself a nice, chillaxing day at the spa.
