@Katepants:  It’s a safety hazard for me to have anything sent via courier tro my Fiance. So I wouldn’t do it.

I think that idea is cute, though!

I don’t understand the purpose of getting something for your Fiance and all of his coworkers. This isn’t elementary school and his biryhday. He ddoesn’t have to share with the class err employees.

Send him something if you want, but make it about him. My husband asks me to pick up bday and retirement cakes all the time for his coworkers.  He likes being known as the thoughtful person who remembers and celebrates milestones. A blanketed treat for a “holiday” that may evoke some strong reaction (Vday haters) bjust isn’t appropriate.

I sent my Fiance some chocolates one day because all of his coworkers (he only has two aha and they’re both women) kept getting flowers and I didn’t want him to feel left out 😉 He was really surprised and was only embarassed because he saw the delivery guy coming and started teasing his coworkers about getting even more flowers and then the treat was for him! I sent them to celebrate six months until the wedding 😉

I say go for it if you think it fits his personality (: I think your new idea in your update sounds great too though!

I was thinking of doing this for my Fiance, too! I found a bakery that is right across the street from where he works (he’s a teacher).

@Katepants: Does your husband like his job or co-workers? Is he outgoing/social/hard to embarrass? If so, then go for it.

My DH is on the shy side and does not like his job/cws. If I got him something like this, he’d probably be annoyed.

I woulnd’t because my husband would be seriously embarassed. And, honestly, if he did that to me I’d be embarassed.
