The new stone definitely has less color.  Both are pretty!  Nice surprise!

@heathuhhhhwebbbb:  Pretty. But, I am curious about something…Isn’t your husband losing money every time you upgrade? He can’t possibly be recouping 100% what he paid for in the trade…or can he?!

@MrsWBS:   Nobody buys back diamonds for exactly what you paid for them, so he’s got to be taking a hit with every upgrade.  Unless the store has a libeal return policy and she’s getting away with that?  But, I know many stores will only let you return so many times without penalty!

OP:  Do you ever plan on choosing just one diamond or are you going to keep switchng out every couple of months?  Can that be good for the structure (seting, prongs) of your ring?

@heathuhhhhwebbbb:  Looks great! Do you mind sharing where your wedding band it from? It’s really similar to what I’ve been looking for!

Did he really “surprise” you with it, or are you just shy to admit you upgraded again? Lol ๐Ÿ˜‰

If you changed your stone since getting married, why were you so upset that your wedding photographer didn’t get great shots of your ring?  After all, it’s a new ring with a better diamond, so why would you want the reminder of a lesser diamond?  Especially if that diamond didn’t make you happy?  (Not being snarky … just curious!)

:@heathuhhhhwebbbb:  Thanks for the reply.  I say take some new photos with the new ring!  Who will ever know the difference?  You can just do the traditional close-ups of your hands together on a pretty background!  I bet you could even do it yourselves at no expense!!!

ETA:  I used “unhappy” because you switched the diamond out.  I guess I thought you weren’t happy with the one you had thus the switch!

Oh yay!!! I was wondering when you’d get a whiter stone. I think this looks great. I hope you keep this one… I think it’s my favorite!!!
