Wow! I think it’s very romantic but I could never do it!

I don’t trust my Fiance with picking "the" place for us. We have different ideas of what a honeymoon should be and what a "nice" vacation is because he’s never really been on a nice one before.

We are doing the same thing. I just told him a few places that I think would be fun, but he can surprise me with wherever. I take care of most of our money so I told him I’ll need a rough estimate of what it will cost for the budget, but other than that.. I don’t want to know a thing! I’m really excited about being surprised and I know he’ll pick a good place to go.

I love my Fiance to death but would NEVER trust him to do this!  He gets great ideas…but everything together to make sure the ideas go through smoothly isn’t his strongest attribute.  🙂  But we did agree we wanted to go somewhere that both of us have not been – so Turks & Caicos it is!  Plus, we used some of my AA mileage and got a ticket for free.

I think it is sweet, though, if you trust your guy enough to do it.  I’d love to be surprised, but am too anal to let my honeymoon be a surprise.

This is actually pretty common and I think it’s sweet even though my Fiance and I planned our honeymoon together. My one caution would be – don’t let him pack the bags! Never let a man do that, LOL. You’ll end up with only 3 outfits for a 7 day trip ha ha ha

My dad did this for my mom. He told her how to pack, and she didn’t know until they got to the airport where they were going. The Bahamas!

if you are worried, you could always specify something things you would NOT enjoy. 🙂

I think it would be kind of fun. I like suprises. But, my Fiance wouldn’t be able to do it…he’s too worried about it being what I want too. We’ve planned it together, which was still fun.
