I found out a few weeks ago that my fiancé and I are now expecting a baby! It’s a huge surprise that we’re very happy about. However, I’ll be 6 months along at my wedding, so my original (very beautiful and very expensive) wedding dress isn’t going to work. I signed a contraxt, so I still have to buy the dress, so I guess I’ll try to sell it—any advice about how to go about doing that?
Also, does anyone have ideas about maternity wedding dresses? I already know about Tiffanyrose.com, but some other options would be great. Thanks!!

I have no idea. I hate wearing dresses and had to force myself for my wedding, so I wouldn’t know the first thing about maternity dresses or anything.
BUT I wanted to say Congratulations!!

Maybe you’d have a lot of luck in a flowy boho dress. Empire waist and lots of chiffon.

The Empire waist silhouette might be a good idea. This dress from David’s Bridal, though not specifically designed for pregnant brides, looks lovely and comfortable:

Are you sure your dress won’t work? A lot of times with first babies you don’t get very big until right before the baby is born. I’d wait until you are a couple of months along to see how fast you are going to grow and how big you are going to be. Your current one might work.
