Wow!!!!  That sounds like SO much fun! Seriously jealous right now.  I dont think I’ve ever been surprised like that and I think I would love it!  But at the same time, I’d probably hate it because I hate packing so much! Maybe you could type up a list of what you plan to bring and email it to one or two of the ladies and say something like "too much, too little, too fancy or too casual?" and ask for just a little help in the direction of what to pack. Sounds to me like they want you to be super surprised, so try to enjoy it!!

I dont think you should bring a gift but def bring a bunch of blank thank you notes and fill them out and hide them in their purses or suitcases to discover when you leave. I hosted 18 friends for a football game/reunion at my families beach house and was shocked to find when they all left a pile of thankyou cards! One of the girls brought a dozen with her and they all wrote my fiance and I individual cards and it was super sweet and totally unexpected (these are a bunch of kids who still wish they were in college!).

have fun and I can’t wait to hear all about it!

that is exciting!  But it does kind of suck to not know exactly what to bring!  But nevertheless, I think it’s such a wonderful surprise and most likely your bms will know what you will "forget" to bring and bring it for you.

When I was a bm to my very good friend, we surprised her with a trip to Aruba.  We didn’t tell her until the day before.  Originally, we weren’t going to tell her at all until she arrived at the airport!  But it was a good choice to tell her because she would’ve brought sweaters and long sleeves to 100 degree weather.

Your Bms did leave you clues so pack as if you’re going on a snowboarding trip (like to Whistler or Switzerland – they did mention you needed a passort!)  Whatever you might have overlooked can probably be purchased around the area.

     Have fun and good luck!

I’m so bad with surprises! My friends wil lwant to surprise me, but I know it will drive me crazy, I’m a born planner and need to know what’s going on. I hope mine won’t be a surprise because of my personality, but if I wasn’t so crazy, I think the surprise would be fun.

I LOVE the idea of a surprise shower/bach party but in reality I’m too much of a planner for that.  I like to know what I need to wear, what I need to do, and where we’re going to I can be prepared.  But I really do love the idea of a surprise shower and sort of hope that my baby shower is a surprise!

Mine won’t be surprises – primarily because my Maid/Matron of Honor is my sister who lives in Ohio (me in Boston) and has a newborn.  So we had to plan together when would work best for her to come east for these events.  I have only ever had one surprise party – my 16th bday.  And my little brother (who was then 11) ruined it by telling me that morning.  Better that way though – I am a crazy planner so would be thrown by a surprise : )
