@Mrs. Meowerson: Sounds super sweet!  I am sure he will love!  What is the groom’s cake to be?

My plan, depending on what can be found and price friendly, is I want to find a vintage hanky from possibly someone of importance (celeb, politician, comedian, etc for example), for him as his gift for the wedding.  I am unsure how I am going to find it, who it will have belonged to, and what possibly scary price range I am looking at.  But thats my big idea for right now.

My ideas:

  • Groom’s cake – Philadelphia Phillies related
  • Tickets for him and his groomsmen to catch a Phillies game

I’ll probably come up with a ton more as time goes on, but I’m excited about those.

I am doing a cake for the rehearsal dinner as well! One of my bridesmaids who is a baker is going to do it for me (and I’m going to help HA) Then for our first dance song I’m going to secretly tell the DJ to switch it at one point to a song that he lovesss and sings to me all the time. I’m also going to have dunkin donuts for him the morning of the wedding because he is an addict. I love coming up with little fun things for him as well!!

Awww look at my shout out! LOL! I also sent Darling Husband some tortilla chips, fancy pita chips, and dips for him and the guys to enjoy. And some scotch 😉 A sweet little note or one of those voice recording cards to say how much you’re looking forward to seeing him?

Fiance is getting a Gibson ES 335 for his gift, we’ll see if I have any money left for anything else!

I’m SO bad at keeping secrets from Fiance.. I was going to surprise him with pin up girl photos and a grooms cake but I already told him about those so they aren’t suprises anymore.. I’ll think of some cute little things to throw in his gift with the photos closer to the date.

What are you going to do with the boudoir shoot pictures after the fact? Do you think you will hang them in the house or just put them away? I was thinking that as well but thought maybe it may be a waste of $$ if I don’t do anything afterwards and I know they are kind of pricey!!

Also about the surprises, so cute! I haven’t even thought about anything like that but I guess I have some time to go! When are you getting married? What time of year? what are his hobbies??

I did a grooms cake and a budoir shoot. We put them in a book. He keeps it on the nightstand and looks at it all the time. He also has a bunch of them on his phone LOL. I also got him a watch as the big gift.  I also surprised him with a massage the morning of.
