3. Where was it? (London, Washington, D.C., Midwest USA, etc.) just outside Seattle, WA

5. How old was the home? built in 1925, so it is a little on the old side!

6. Move-in Ready or Fixer Upper? In between, mostly cosmetic things, and some outdated stuff.  We have done quite a bit, and still have a lot more planned, although it technically was livable.

4. How many square feet? 1900 + 600 in the basement

5. How old was the home? Built in 1927, second story was added in 2001

6. Move-in Ready or Fixer Upper? It was move in ready, but comestically needed some fixing up, like all of the woodwork was the original 1920’s stuff, which needed to have the finish chemically removed and restained.

7. What year was it purchased? 2011

When we decided to buy, it was something that we didn’t want to have to do again when we had kids so we bought a bigger house so we wouldn’t have to upgrade right away!
