I suspected I had a chemical pregnancy. I had a super faint positive test on Sunday morning, and was going to wait till Tuesday to test again. On Tuesday I got what I thought was CP bleeding (or maybe the test was a dud and it was AF). However, after heavy bleeding on Tuesday, medium bleeding on Wednesday and very minimal watery brown bleeding today, I’m confused. I’m sitting at work right now wondering what’s going on here.
I plan to test after a four hour hold this evening, but am wondering if any of the ladies here who have had chemical pregnancies could tell me how long their bleeding lasted for, I’d appreciate the info. AF is usually 5 days of heavy to medium flow, then 1-2 days of light, so this was very short for AF as well, and from my understanding CP bleeding lasts closer to 10 days.
Thanks in advance!

So I tested again, and not even a squinter on a frer, 4 hour hold. I’m still calling it CD 3, and hopefully AF sorts herself out.

I had a chemical pregnancy recently. Last Tuesday I tested and got several clear positives. The next morning I started spotting and my temp had dropped below my coverline (I temp). Dr tested my HCG levels Wednesday morning at it was at 15. The bleeding increased by Thursday. Friday’s HCG test was back to almost 0. I bled moderately heavy Thursday and Friday, very light, brown spotting Saturday and then it was done. From my extensive (and slightly obsessive) research, the shorter bleeding time is very common. Some say the first actual period after a chemical pregnancy will be much heavier, other research shows no change.
On a seperate note, sorry you’re going through this. I know everyone is different, but for me, the chemical pregnancy was hard on me mentally. It left me with so much disappointment and uncertainty. Hope you’re doing okay.
