Personally I dont think they should wear boutonnieres if they arent wearing jackets.. its going to look odd pinned to the shirt.

I wouldn’t pin it on the suspendor unless it’s very small. Maybe just like a green or something?

While I personally like the look of bouts with either a jacket or vest better, bouts with suspenders still look nice!  I did a quick search and this is what I found:

The last example is too big for me although I like the look from a distance!

Ok, I love this idea. This is what Fiance wants to do, but we are having a hard time FINDING suspenders/suits with a vintage look. He prefers a linen color..

We went into a store today and the girl looked at us like we were insane and said “Uh, no, we don’t have anything like that here…we only have TUXEDOS and suits.” She didn’t have to wrinkle her nose!

The second store..which claims to have everything for everyone, only had a brown suit. Ugh.

Any suggestions where we can find suspenders/bowties?!

I think small boutonnieres pinned onto suspenders can look super cute! As long as they aren’t so big or heavy as to pull down the suspender or droop down I’d say go for it.

Either way do whatever you want! As long as you and Fiance like it, that’s all that matters.

My local Target has suspenders, so you can check there too!  🙂
