2 years ago, I started grad school, and it’s a lot of reading and sedentary work, so I ended up gaining 20 pounds! 🙁 womp womp. What really helped me lose the weight was the My Fitness Pal app on my phone. People tend to overestimate the number of calories they burn and underestimate the number of calories they eat, so the app is a really easy and accurate way to keep track. I’ve already lost 10 pounds just by using the app, and I’m going to lose more before the wedding!
Also, finding an exercise that you actually enjoy is helpful! For me, I love exercise that doesn’t “feel” like exercise. I hate running on a treadmill, but I love to play tennis and I have fun doing Zumba and latin dance aerobics.
