@FutureMrsEdwards420:  i don’t know if they’re swarovski, but glamhouse on etsy has some nice blingy belts.  actually, a LOT of shops on etsy have lovely belts, for WAY less than $600.  and you’re not limited to blingy belts…you could jazz i up a bit with plain colored satin sash if you wanted, or a sash with flowers too, or combine any two of the three (flowers with blingy centers, color with flowers, color with bling…).  don’t pay $600 for a belt though.

Definitely needs a belt/sash in my opinion. Look on Etsy for a sash, you can get one for WAY less than $600! You don’t necessarily need to have it sewn on, but if you prefer, I’m sure a local seamstress could do it for really cheap if you buy the sash on your own.

WOW, your dress is absolutely amazing even without the belt! I agree with both PP’s about etsy though, $600 is absurd for some little sparkly bits.

This is actually my dress, and I had the same problem. I paid $350 for my belt. Which I thought was crazy- but totally worth it…

ETA: Found it. I’m having it sewn on as well.

@FutureMrsEdwards420: I don’t think they’d have an issue with it. It’s just an alteration you’d like to have, no big deal.

Good luck! It’s a beautiful dress (I may be biased). I knew it was my dress as soon as I put it on with the belt. I think the belt is the finishing touch!

@FutureMrsEdwards420: I actually have my first fitting in September. My dress came in and I tried her on, though. When I initially tried the sample on, I had a huge crinoline on, and I loved it. When I tried my dress on, I wore it without, and it looked pretty darn close to the exact same. The only alterations I’m having done are the hem, adding the belt and a bustle. It really is perfect. Oh, but I’m removing the bow, too!
