I have all kinds of Swarovski jewelry. Not for my e-ring, but tons of other stuff. Tennis bracelett, earings, necklaces, etc. I love it.

Is it crystal or CZ? All the stuff I found on the Swarovski website say it’s crystal, which is just glass, right?  I would worry about the durability, I swack my hands into everything!

Yes I’ve seen them at our local swarovski shop at the mall.  They have halos and all that ‘look’ just like diamond/clear stone e-rings but of course it does sparkle in it’s own way and I think the cuts are a little different.

I do have a crystal bracelet from them and their jewellery is nice but I would worry about durability plus I think the metals are rodium plated but if you can find gold that would be awesome (if that’s what you’re looking for)

I tried on a Swarovski solitaire once. It did look quite different from a diamond, but it was still very beautiful!

Does anyone know how tough/scratch resistant Swarovski crystals are? I have a pair of headphones with Swarovski crystals set in them which I carry around in my purse all the time and it looks like they are holding up quite well.

EDIT: Ohhhh they’re making CZ? Is this different from what’s in their other jewelry?

@DeathByDesign: I have those headphones too!  I’ve had them for 3 years and they still look good and work fine.  You should probably put them in some sort of case though because the material on the cord gets dirty.

I think their CZs are only available through JCPenny right now.. but I could be wrong.

I have some CZ jewellery and also we did the UV light testing on them and the crystal did not react like the CZ and glow under the light.   I don’t have the rings to try out but I’m pretty sure it’s the same crystals in my bracelet.
