Aesthetically, I love the first one, but it seems like the stone in second one is more likely to be better protected from scratches/damage.

@MissTiger:  You could use a pre-paid debit card.  I don’t have that berricle ring but one of the bees on here who’s a bee keeper (post has a green background) does.

2 is more eglegant.  The edges on #1 look very harsh

Smaller stones tend to look more “real.” Both because you can’t notice as much refraction and because it’s more common to have a smaller stone. That being said, my vote goes for number 2.

I think the first ring has a very believable setting, but the cut on the stone is not an actual diamond cut, and I would be able to tell. The second ring looks more “real” to me.

But honestly, I’m all about rocking stuff for what it really is, so I’d just choose which ever one sang to me, diamond-likeness aside.

I work at JCP part time and through holidays and a lady I work with has the second setting in the marquise and she has had it for 2 years now and it looks brand new! I honestly thought about getting one just for the heck of it because they are so pretty. Just make sure to get a sterling silver cleaning cloth to shine it up when it becoes dull!

    Or she might not know.

Some of the ladies that work in our jewelry department are idiots about jewelry. But if you don’t want to be without your ring for a week or so to get it shined, get the cloth. It doesn’t do as good of a job as when you send it out but it for sure helps so you don’t have to send it out as often.
