Neither, sweet tea is wayyyy too sweet, but unsweet is gross! I like it somewhere in the middle. πŸ™‚

I like both!  However it seems that people usually like one or the other or have a stronger preference.  Is there a way to offer both?

I like sweet tea if it is cold, but un-sweetened if it is hot.  Don’t know why??

I love sweet tea but I have diabetes so I usually have my tea unsweetened.

In Canada the norm is Sweetened Ice Tea with a hint of lemon.  As that is what I grew up on, am accustomed to it is still my preferred tea (when I’m not drinking HOT Tea that is).  Mr TTR and I travel to the US South often, and I have on occasion asked for Ice Tea, and been served unsweeted tea, and it always knocks me for a loop… just a surprise to get a mouthful of something you weren’t anticipating.  I try to remember to always say “Sweet Tea” now (although like some other Bees I have to say that sometimes it is just too darn sweet… so I voted NEITHER in your Poll… as I truly prefer the Canadian interpretation of Ice Tea over anything else)

Sweet tea! But real sweet tea that’s proper tea steeped with sugar added, not Nestea or whatever.

@This Time Round:  I don’t like being surprised!

When I order iced tea, I expect it to be similar to the bottled/fountain/stuff you make with powder at home.

I don’t mind unsweetened tea, as long as I’m not expecting it to be sweet.  I’ve never had real ‘sweet tea’ to know for sure, but would probably like it.

For hot tea, I like it best with honey, but also drink it ‘black’ (but it’s usually not black tea).

I don’t drink much tea, but if I do, it would have have some sugar in it.  Nothing crazy like McDonald’s sweet tea.  I love my grandmom’s tea she used to make me.
