@ejs4yB- I dont know of you have Rita’s by you but they just came out with a Sweedish Fish ice that I am dying to try.  I heard it tastes just liek the real thing.

Sorry everyone else, pretend you didnt read that on the healthy eating thread!

hahahaha, I am considered the Candy Queen of both my friends and co-workers so I would have to say that I don’t curb myself at all…I have been known to eat ONLY candy some days…But I think putting it out in the break room or something is a good solution to avoid eating it all yourself… maybe putting some of it in the freezer if you want to keep some it for later on?

I fail at not eating candy every day. Every day.

It surely disappears if I put it in the kitchen at work, but realistically I will just buy more. Glad to know I’m not the only one with an incurable sweet tooth.

I’d leave it in the middle of the office and it would be gone in less than 15 minutes.  There really is no subsitute for candy, I would be chowing down right now if I had some in my desk!

If it were me, I’d leave it out in the office kitchen and let everyone else have at it!  If I kept it around in my desk, I’d be tempted all the time and would never stop eating it.  Honestly, for me, the best way not to eat junk is not to buy it/have it close by.  Then I can’t be tempted by it!

I am less than 5 feet to a giant bucket of candy at work, and would always take a piece or two or three each day.  However, for the past two weeks, I’ve brought at least three fruits or veggies to snack on at work.  One fantastic side effect?  I am too busy trying to eat the darn produce that I don’t think about the candy as much and don’t eat it.

And even if I eat candy, I don’t feel as guilty because I’m getting in healthy food too.

This plan probably wouldn’t work if I had access to Swedish fish.  Mmmm Swedish fish

I don’t look at the pastry case while at work. seriously. And that doesn’t even help all the time. = (

I would say put the candy out in the break room/kitchen so everyone can help you eat it!  Or you could take it to a local Ronald McDonald’s house or something, see if they might want to have a stash for the kids?  As far as a replacement, I highly recommend Mrs. Meatball’s suggestion of Emerald’s Cocoa Roast Almonds!  They smell deliciously like chocolate, but it’s just a dusting of cocoa powder and the almonds will definitely curb your hunger and they have lots of protein (although quite a bit of ‘healthy’ fat as well).

share with the break room! 🙂 you’ll be everyone’s friend!

i go to trader joe’s to stock up on my snacking foods so that at least i can get dried fruit or nuts which are a little healthier? the key is to having other options so when you’re craving the munchies you’ll have healthier things to munch on!

though i must say… i love candy!! so addicting!
