We had high and low centerpieces and our event designer did different, smaller arrangments and lined them across our sweetheart table.

Pics from my planner during setup…

We had an overlay and extra candles on our sweetheart table.  Pics below of our sweetheart and guest tables:

Our sweetheart table was on a little stage. The centrepieces for the tables were just simple oversized white lanters, and on our table we had a mini version. Our wedding was so small (32-33 guests) we didn’t see the need to really go out of our way to make it different.

wedbee0904 :  I would definitely suggest going with a low centerpiece. Your photographer will want to take pictures of the two of you during speeches, toasts, etc… And if you go with a high centerpiece it will block her shots.

We will be using my bouquet for the centerpiece of our sweetheart table. It will have champagne tablecloth and votive candles as well.
