Hey Lovely Ladies of Weddingbee! I’ve been around for a few months, but this is my first time posting a query. Anyway, here goes …
So, my SO is very sweet and has booked tickets for us to go to Cabo San Lucas for a few days to celebrate our upcoming 4-year anniversary (yay!). I’ve been swimsuit shopping for months but have had a hard time finding much because I have an awkward body type: I’m 5 feet tall, have a small waist, but 36Dirty Delete breasts. I’ve gone from Venus to Victoria’s Secret to look for bikini tops that fit, and I didn’t feel comfortable in anything.
So, I just decided to order a couple of O’neill Surf Skins (size small) from Amazon to wear with my bikini bottoms I already own. Do you think that’s okay? Are you generally supposed to wear a bikini top underneath the surf skin? Will I be okay without?
Your help is GREATLY appreciated!!!

Sorry, I’m not familiar with these, but hopefully someone else is. Have a great trip and happy four years!!! 🙂

I don’t have much to add but that I feel you as a 36DDD… Impossible to find ones that don’t cost a fortune but that fit!

I have similar proportions to you, and I would love to hear some answers on how to find bikini tops that fit. I have a 34DD/32DDD (depending on the bra) and I feel like it’s impossible to find non-awkward tops.

I have some of the surf skins and I feel like I need to wear a bathing suit with them. Maybe since you can’t find one you can wear a sports bra with it.

do they have a bikini village or store like that. that carries mix and match bikinis? i typically have to buy different sizes for tops vs bottoms.
hope you have a great trip though.

I’m not familar with the surf skins, but as a 34DD/E myself, I would HIGHLY recommend Freya swimsuits. I’ve struggled with bikini fit for years and I LOVE these. They have good prices on them at Asos.
