I’m new to the site but have been following several of you around for some time (I assure you, not in a stalker-ish style) [shout-outs to Ms. Armidillo, Ms. Gloves, and Ms. Dragon!]. I figure that now is about time for me to start posting around in here and getting a feel for the site. For the past couple of months I have had more than just a passing opinion or question that I would like answered by you Lovely Bees, and the only thing stopping me from actually posting was the fact that I didn’t have an account. What better way to do that then post a small introduction, I say?
So, here goes! *drum-roll*
My “About Me” blurb pretty much sums me up, but I am a tad (a lot) more complex than that. I am currently serving a 6 year engagement with the United States Coast Guard while obtaining my Anthropology Degree on the side. I am an Artist, a Writer, and a part-time Photographer. I feel like I am always on the run. I hit the ground running when I get up in the morning and I don’t stop until I get home and kick off my boots. I’m working full time and doing school part time and, needless to say, I am always busy. All that being said, I know how to make time for the important things (weekly exercise, healthy eating, surfing Weddingbee at 3 in the morning…) and hope to inspire my fellow Bees to do the same.
I have been Engaged before, and though it (and the 4 year relationship that it followed) didn’t work out, it has shown me what I do and do not want when it comes to relationships and major life decisions. I have become a stronger person and a better Woman through all of the trials that I have been through. I only hope that I can impart some small amount of guidance and/or wisdom to those of you that come seeking it. I am currently a Waiting Bee, and I am so excited to begin becoming a part of this small (lovely, friendly, and inspired) corner of cyberspace, and hope that the friendships and knowledge that I gain from you Ladies (and Gents) will stay with me for a long while to come.
