I’m on my ipad and don’t have any pictures right now, but I have a one year old german shepherd.  She’s a black and tan shepherd and is crrraaaaazzzzyyyy!! lol

We rescued her from a shelter.  We had gone into look at dogs, not planning on adopting that day, but then we met Jessie. She had been picked up as a stray and had a collar and tag.  When they called her owner he came to get her and found out he’d have to pay about $50.00 to get her back and flipped out.  He cursed out the shelter staff, refused to pay and told them to put her to sleep.  Since she had been brought in as a stray they didn’t put her down, they put her on the adoption floor.  She was ~30 pounds underweight, covered in fleas and ticks and in heat.  The day we went was her last day- if she wasn’t adopted by 5pm she was being put to sleep.  We took her out and played with her and she was so loving we couldn’t leave her.  We filled out the paper work, and picked her up two days later from the vet.  (she had to be fixed, treated for fleas, heartworm test etc)

There are days now I want to strangle her (not really) because she is soooo crazy, energetic, bouncy etc all day long.  But then she comes over and tries to lay in my lap because she thinks she’s the size of a chihuahua and she just wants loving, scratches and to be your best friend, and I can’t be mad at her.  I think we’ll get the crazy part under control eventually- she is better then she was when we adopted her.  When I have time I’ll try to find some pictures to share.

Here’s my baby.  She is a white german shepard mix.  We’re not sure what she is mixed with since she really looks like a whit german shepard but she is a little bit smaller.

@LobotomyParty:  Thank you! Ohhhh they are a handful without a doubt, but worth every minute! They just keep each other entertained which is nice, and makes me feel better when I am at work that they have play buddies πŸ™‚

@LobotomyParty:  She is a rescue dog so we really don’t know what she is mixed with.  The DNA tests are around $60.  We’ve talked about getting one, but we don’t know how reliable they are and we really just aren’t that interested in it.  There is a purebred that goes to the same dog park.  They look identical except our dog is a little shorter and weighs less.
