I have recently (the last 2 months) doing Crossfit (and am obsessed with it, but that’s beside the point), and my fingers are now either swollen or have got bigger, in the last month or so, to the point where it is painful for me to take my rings off before I start exercising. Has anyone experienced this?
I eat pretty healthy (low-ish salt) and drink a lot of water, so I’m at a loss as to why this is happening.
My fingers always sell up with the heat and are usually a little swollen when I first get up, but nowadays, they’re swollen all day, every day, no matter what my activity.
Can anyone come up with any suggestions? Thanks!

In case you ladies are wondering, I’m mentioning crossfit because I’m obsessed, but also because I wonder if my fingers can have got bigger from the weight lifting. I don’t lift heavy by any means, but thought that maybe the gripping would have made my fingers bigger/ stronger?

Your fingers don’t have muscles to grow. I personally would call your doctor and just get it checked out. I mean some swelling is obviously normal, but if it’s ALL the time I’d look into it.

sweetaure: mine swell during physical activity but then go down within a few hours. if they’re staying swollen I’d get it checked out.
