Symptoms Before BFP?

It definitely can happen but 6dpo is before an egg would even implant, so it’s highly unlikely to be pregnancy symptoms that early on.

fwiw, I have some or all of those symptoms almost every cycle. 6dpo and around there is when progesterone should be the highest in a cycle as well, and most of these symptoms (and pregnancy symptoms) are due to increased progesterone.

I’ve had 4 BFP’s (2 ended in MC and I have 2 kids). Never had any symptoms before I got a positive test.

As PP said, it’s likely just increased progesterone and you paying attention more to your body than you did before TTC

Those were my earliest symptoms. But (according to my FF chart) at 6DPO I had headaches and heartburn (big tip off to me). My severe fatigue started about 8DPO (and still hasn’t let up, I’m now 9w3d pregnant). Smell aversions started around 9DPO or so and tender breasts about the same time (that one has also stuck around). I got my first BFP at 13DPO.

It could be good signs but it’s still early. Good luck!

Nope, 2 pregnancies and no symptoms other than increased cervical fluid.  And I wasn’t symptom spotting so that may have something to do with it.  When you are obsessing about every twinge it’s easy to see or notice things (that may or may not be related to pregnancy).  But I don’t really believe in pregnancy symptoms until you can get a positive test.  Enough hcg for symptoms, enough hcg for a BFP.

I actually knew I was pregnant this time as I had none of my usual “I’m totally convinced I’m pregnant this month!!” symptoms. Only symptoms I had right away were a missed period. The rest didn’t set in until about 6 weeks.

janvier :  My main symptom was a temp dip on 8DPO and super crampy on 9 DPO but no sign of AF got  my BFP on 10DPO. Also, i ALWAYS break out on my chin and gain 2-3lbs a few days before AFs arrival and skin was clear with no weight gain. My chart also says i was nauseas on 3DPO, 5DPO & 6DPO and fatigued 4DPO-8DPO.  How long have you been trying? I honestly FELT different but that doesnt happen to everyone! FX for your BFP!

2 weeks before my BPF my feet were really really hot which is unusual for me, and my boobs were super sore and sensitive too.

Just headaches for me. Everyday. And slight, period-like cramps. But nothing really noteworthy. I actually went to the doctor a couple times before getting my positive test because the headaches were so out of the ordinary. I was convinced I was dying.

Pregnancy symptoms, in the early stages, often are caused by progesterone – meaning you can get them every cycle even when you aren’t pregnant. At 6DPO, it is unlikely that your fertilized egg has even left the tubes and implanted in the uterus. If by chance, it has implanted early, your HCG would not be high enough to cause such symptoms. Typical pregnancy symptoms (morning sickness, headaches, etc) don’t start until closer to 6 weeks when your hormone levels are adequately high.

What you are attributing right now to early pregnancy is likely just from progesterone after ovulation.

janvier : I was just over two week pregnant when we tested, a few days I had increased thirst and my right arm ached, I was worried I might have had the flu starting or something. I also hadn’t had the vivid dreams I usually experienced before AF.

None….except temperature staying high

OH and it smelled sweet down there. Usually before my perid it smells foul (that’s how I know it is coming). Nope, it literally smelled sweet. I googled and it’s pregnancy symptom. SO weird

We were doing NFP as part of our marriage prep, liked it and planned to use it so we continued on after our wedding so we could track my cycles. I *knew* 7 days dpo (bc my temp was not coming down) that I was pregnant and a test confirmed it at 9 dpo (which was 5 days before my missed period).

I didn’t have any of the classic pregnancy symptoms until around 7-8 weeks. The only symptom I had that early was implantation bleeding, which was maybe 6 days before my missed period & testing positive on a digital test. Darling Husband didn’t know that was a thing and thought it meant we weren’t pregnant…and I was like ehhh…not so fast. After I told him that it could maybe possibly be implantation bleeding he was CONVINCED we were expecting…which I guess he was right
