I’m a sucker for wedding shows, so of course I watched the new season of SYTTD Bridesmaids, and I loved it! These bridal parties are absolutely insane!! Who has friends like this, seriously?! I may have some nuts in my bridal party, but it makes me thank God every day they’re not like some of those girls! My favorite quote was from a physco Maid/Matron of Honor, “Next to the bride, I’m the most important person at the wedding.” UH, HELLO? The groom?! She was a whack-o, demanding a different color dress then everyone else and refusing to share the Maid/Matron of Honor position with another girl who was a matron of honor..

@X0JLYNN03: Yes! it was crazy.. and the crying meltdown because the bride was being “mean”? Such quality TV! haha

I watched the marathon on Friday night, and was actually horrified by the behavior of some of those girls. I think if any of my BMs acted like them, I’d kick them out of the party. A Maid/Matron of Honor saying “I’m more important than eveyrone else, and will not be treated like I’m on the same level as them” – in front of the BMs – is atriocious behavior I’d expect from a 4 year old, not an “adult.”

Yeah that girl was ridiculous! It makes me wonder if these “reality” shows are really legit because who on earth would say that.

I wasn’t a huge fan. I much prefer the brides version. If I want to see a bunch of bitchy women cat fight, there are enough shows to choose from!

haha. One of my bridesmaid and I were texting during the show. She was insane! P.S. Grey, fuschia and yellow? wow.

I would dismiss her immediately. I hope she was embellishing for tv otherwise that girl needs a straight-jacket

I saw a re-run of the one where the bride’s sister was her Maid/Matron of Honor and was a major pain in the ass. Bride was having a beach wedding and wanted the BM’s in short dresses but her sister (MOH) kept coming out dressed in long dresses. She kept talking about how the bride has no fashion sense, etc. I would have smacked my sister if she acted like that.

@X0JLYNN03: That “… next to the bride, I’m the most important person…” line killed me! I was laughing so hard. How can you be friends with someone who has such deep self-esteem issues that they feel threatened by your other friends?!
I’ve actually learned alot from the show about how to be a good bride when we go Bridesmaid or Best Man dress shopping. I was one of the “Get any dress you want!” girls but after watching the show, I’ve learned that’s not going to work very well. 🙂

My Fiance made me turn it. The only endearing person on the show was the Maid/Matron of Honor whose wife wanted her to be able to wear a pantsuit.
I wont be watching it again. Way too much drama.

That Maid/Matron of Honor was a monster!
I thought it was funny that the other bride in that episode said that two of her maids dropped out because of the cost to be in the bridal party (she said that between the Louboutins and the dress, they were spending $1200 on attire). So, only two maids were at the fitting.
Cut to the end of the show and there are four bridesmaids. I wonder how that was resolved…

@X0JLYNN03: Yeah that Maid/Matron of Honor needed a good slap upside the head. SMDH. And I thought brides were supposed to be bad!

@abbie017: I seriously could not understand why anyone would ever act like that. How childish! Maid/Matron of Honor and MOB… because the Maid/Matron of Honor didn’t want to share her title. So freaking ridiculous.

@ohmybears48: I felt soooo bad for her! If that was my sister, I would have put her in a freaking pant suit, not make her try on all those dresses! She didn’t look good in the dresses and she was uncomfortable! Come on, she’s your sis! You don’t want her to be uncomfortable.
