Apparently the women on that show… I’ve never seen a wedding show that I actually enjoyed.

I think the worst one was where the brides competed in challenges and the “prize” was a plastic surgery procedure off their wish lists. I don’t remeber what it was called, but the premise was engaged women made a list of all the procedures they want to have done– then, if they win a challenge, they got the 1st item on their list, then the 2nd, then the 3rd, etc. And the “winner” of the show got the balance of her list done before her wedding.  But the catch was– the groom couldn’t see them until they walked down the aisle.

I was so disgusted by the whole thing– don’t these women understand that their future husbands fell in love with who they ARE, not who they wanted to be??? I couldn’t ever imagine being OK with something like that– let alone my Fiance getting on board with the idea.

@juliette.eliza:  BRIDALPLASTY!

def one of the corniest shows. I watched it online for kicks and giggles. The runner up was SO catty. It just looked so staged. the concept is rather horrifying. Some of those girls really needed a nose job though. I really don’t like it when women get lipo though – it’s so unhealthy because if you don’t change you eating habits then your fat is going to grow back in ugly lumps.

All those pnina tournai dresses are pretty skanky – see through bodices that barely cover the ladies, ugh. I wouldn’t see myself ever wearing that in front of my father, mother, grandmother, my FI’s grandmother, grandfather, uncles, etc. there would be more people at my wedding who would think it’s skanky than fashion forward.

Hey! To each his own! Some girls want to look like a princess, an poof ball, or a shiny disco ball!

@Ashley_B:  I agree about some people wanting to look elegant while others want to look like they are heading to the club, but seriously?  They want to look “slutty”?  Have some self respect. (I mean those girls on TV, not you lol)  Like LaCroix said, there’s a difference between wanting to look hot or sexy and wanting to look slutty.

@GroovyHippieChick:  I watched that episode.. I don’t understand why she wanted her crack to show, but the dresses she tried on were so pretty, I loved the low back on them! And they didn’t show any crack like she wanted.. I highly doubt any designer makes a dress that does that lol

@GroovyHippieChick:  Ahahaha I caught that one. Really? Her butt crack? GROSS. I’m glad her Fiance put his foot down and said no.

@danicalifornia:  I’ve seen ONE Pnina dress that doesn’t make me cringe. The see-through bodices, super low plunge between the breasts, and there’s at least one dress that looks like it’s just a corset (like, one you’d actually wear UNDER something) and crinoline rather than an actual DRESS.

@GroovyHippieChick:  Hahaha. I remember that one! And I remember another gal that wanted something intentionally trashy. She wanted the trashiest dress she could find and she was proud that her every day style is trashy and offends people. Awesome.
