Be happy with the one you’ve got now! You could go back and forth forever on this. If it helps, write a list of all the things you loved about your dress when you ordered it. Imagine yourself on your wedding day wearing it and picture the compliments you will get about it. Literally let yourself fantasize a little bit. Brainstorm a lot of wonderful adjectives about your dress – it’s not plain and sweet, it’s classy! You have a nice list going already at the beginning of your post (simple, pretty, flowy).

I seriously could have written this post myself. LOL. I had to take a massive break away from watching SYTTD because it was making me feel bad that I didn’t have $5,000 to spend on a couture gown. And then a few days away from the show, I was like, I could almost furnish my house with $5,000!! So then I didn’t feel so bad not spending a ridiculous amount.

I have this same problem. I just got netflix and went through all 5 seasons of syttd so fast! I was doubting my choice right and left after seeing all these other georgeous gowns! But honestly….I remember the way I felt when i tried on my dress for the first time and how much i loved it, and i have to trust my own judgement that i made the right choice. You’ve probably heard Randi (on the show) say that once you find the “right” gown, you stop looking- just like when you find the right guy, you stop looking. I think that is the best advice for people like us who second-guess sometimes. Just tell yourself that you found the right one, so don’t even consider looking all over again. You’ll just cause yourself more stress.

side note- the gowns i love the most are always ornate and over the top but mine is fairly simple. I ended up picking it because i realized that all the more elaborate gowns were wearing me instead of me wearing the gown : ) So i also have to stop myself from drooling over those crazy ornate gowns and remember that if I was wearing one, Ide get lost in it lol

I was feeling the same way earlier! There is one particular style of dress that I love, but I know that it is waaaaay out of my price range. That helps me through those little twinges of “awww…that’s the dress I really wanted!” when I see them on SYTTD. In the end, I am very, very happy with my dress.
