(Closed) Table, chair and other rentals: ideas vs. reality

During our cocktail hour people stood. We had high cocktail rounds for people to stand around, but I don’t know how many- our venue provided a specified number dependent upon the number of guests we were supposed to have in attendance, so it’s not something I had to worry about.

However, we ended up cutting our cocktail hour a bit short because it was outdoors on a deck by the beach, and it was unseasonably cold that day.

During the reception, I think people mostly danced, but there was PLENTY of seating since our dance floor was in the middle of a ballroom and the dinner was held in the same space.

I can’t really help you with setup/breakdown- our ceremony/cocktail hour/reception were all held at the same venue, so everything was set up beforehand. The staff and some of our vendors took care of the breakdown as was stipulated in their contract.
