What are your centerpieces? I think it depends on what you’re looking for and what might enhance them.

I like the look of mirrors under centerpieces! We’re using them!  I also like the look of adding a square of colored fabric in an accent color. ๐Ÿ™‚

I’m not a mirror fan. We used doilies under ours.

personally, i’m not a mirror fan, but if it is something that you love, go for it! i prefer silver trays instead – it still has that “reflection” effect but a little more of a vintage feel ๐Ÿ™‚ best of luck!

I voted that they’re a little played out but I think they can still totally work for a centerpiece. I’m not a huge fan if it looks like a mirror was just thrown underneath just because but I think it looks really nice when there are tealight candles and or maybe some loose petals along with whatever centerpice you would be doing.

I didn’t vote b/c while I don’t think they’re awesome, I don’t think they are tacky or played out either. Depending on your other decor choices, mirrors could be the perfect addition to enhance the lighting used in your centerpieces…especially if your budget doesn’t have room for tons of candlelight. If there is going to be tons of lighting overhead, the mirrors won’t really add anything to the decor though.

I second the fabric idea! I wanted to do this gorgeous textured paper under mine, but my mom pointed out that the fabric could be made into a quilt, but the paper (or mirrors) would probably just be thrown away/sold. I love the idea of a quilt made from part of your centerpieces!

I didn’t vote either.  I think they can be okay if used well, or creatively.  Nothing is played out if you give it your own spin!

I don’t think there is anything wrong with mirrors, I just personally did not want to use them at all.  I can’t really explain why, my mom would mention it and I would just say “NO!”  But they can be pretty if done right to reflect candle light.  I chose to go with chargers that match my wedding color, they are very shiny so they also reflect the light from my candles.

I personally think they give a nice look with out being costly. Most people do NOT remember the center piece’s unless they get to take them home! lol…

I think they are OKAY , I might use them since my venue offer them to use. I do think they look very nice with candles around them or on them.
