Look on Etsy for frames that have something about the state on the frame, like Florida would have oranges and Maryland would have crabs, etc.

DoubleA903:  love this idea! Just Google it! Print color photos for each state that look like postcards- frame those. Then take pics and show us! 🙂 love it!

DoubleA903:  Excellent call on also numbering them! Table numbers are actually functional, not decorative, and it’s MUCH easier to find Table# 4 as opposed to “Ohio”. I bet you’ll get lots of great suggestions for how to execute this idea. Have fun!

So cute!

For the table names, you can literally just use a regular table # holder and put a card that reads “Nevada” or whatever in there. Or, since you are using numbers AND names, you can just put the number for easy spotting and then have your centerpiece convey the state theme, which is sort of a fun “surprise” for your guests when they get to the table.

You can also do:

Table 1: Nevada

(or Table 1, Nevada)

I like this idea. Each of our tables are having their own theme, so I’m always interested me seeing how others pull off the same thing.

You our could also do the number to correlate which order you visited which state. And, this may have been mentioned, but there’s something on Pinterest where you take a picture in a certain state and then cut it out in the shape of the state and then can put them all together to make a map. If you have those, you could use those as well, and then later turn into the map (so it’s reusable later).

We did this with landmarks in our city. We framed a photo of the landmark and wrote the name on the frame with a silver pen.

I went to a wedding where they did this. They did not include table numbers, just the names of places they have been too, and it wasn’t confusing or a problem to anybody. Another friend, who is really into horses, used horse breed names for their tables, and again, no numbers.

We recently just thought of doing this with our tables being places in Rome as that’s where we got engaged. A friend of mine is having her tables named after the family dogs. I think it’s a little more fun than numbers!

Our Theme is Harlem Renaissance  so our table numbers will actually be people from that Era
