I am going back and forth with the idea of creating table numbers out of our engagement photos, put them in black & white with white font Table 1, 2, 3…etc.
Cheesy or no??? Have you been to a wedding and saw this and was like “vomit!” ?

Personally I would find it a bit too OTT lovey dovey. Maybe if you wanted the table numbers to reflect you as a couple you could use destinations you have visited or something.

Not cheesy. Cute.
Also good use of engagement photos.

dianabee: We did a photoshoot (free) with my sister and her Darling Husband of us holding up numbers in an old picture frame in goofy poses. We used those pictures as our table numbers. Overall, people thought it was creative and got a good laugh at some of our goofy faces.

Not being a lovey-dovey person, it’d probably make me gag internally. But I’d never say anything.*
*To you or your husband. I’d likely word-vomit to my husband or any very close friends.

howtobeawife: that’s a great idea. As a guest I would love the goof factor!

The pictures I would use would also not be extreme closeups, I mean I am obviously biased because they are OUR pictures, its great to hear everyones input, keep em coming!

dianabee: I think it would be lovely and perfectly appropriate. After all, that is what the whole day is about-celebrating your love.

I don’t see what’s wrong with it unless your entire reception decor is already filled with photos of the couple, then I think it would be too much. I think if you keep them black and white and tasteful, it would be nice. I mean it’s your wedding, decorate it however you like!! It is about you and your FH!!

Unless you are one of those brides who have lots of pictures of you two, I don’t think it would be cheesy.
I’ve been to some weddings where there are pictures everyday though.. like bridal portraits on the guest book table, then some on the centerpieces, more on the bar, even some on the bathroom door.
That’s just too much.

I think it’s cute, and if you like it, its your wedding and you should rock it out.
