I think that the alternating will be gorgeous! If you dont alternate I’d at least incorporate both colors. Our main colors are black and salmon and we’re going to do salmon tablecloths with black runners so you could consider something like that too! Good luck!

When they aren’t all the same color I can’t help but feeling that it looks like they just didn’t have enough of either color. Unless they are all different, like cute prints or something.

I feel like just because the your colors are so contrasting, alternating table cloths might look strange. I feel that two color of table cloths looks better when the colors are similar (ie. royal blue & purple).

But that’s just my opinion. Either way, i’m sure your reception will look great. 🙂

@cherrycoke:True story, it’s quite a bit more $, ugh lol. In that case I would go with all champagne table cloths and using the black in the centerpieces. Do you know what kind of centerpieces you are going to do?

Are the food tables going to be in the same room? Cuz you could do the tables that everyone sits at in champagne and then do the food and drink tables in black, so they don’t really stand out.

We did black table cloths with different color overlays (they were like $5 apiece) and it looked really nice

Plated dinner, got you.  Well you could do the cake table, gift table, etc in black so they don’t stand out as much, and you don’t have to worry about everything on the table matching as much. Or, you could just say F it and do it all in chapmagne to make it easier, lol

OH I just looked at your other centerpiece posts and I LOVE the ideas that you posted, all 3 of the candle ideas actually. I think with the champagne tablecloths those centerpieces will look very classy.
